When you have so many online accounts to manage, it is quite common to forget the password for any of your accounts. If you have forgotten the password for your iCloud email account and you are unable to access your account, resetting the password for your account is the only way to regain access to your iCloud email account. Steps to Recover an iCloud Email Account by Resetting Password
1.) To reset the password, go to the Apple ID page via link https://appleid.apple.com/. Wait until page loads.
2.) Once the web page gets loaded, click on the option “Forgot Apple ID or Password” located at the bottom of the page. You will be directed to the next screen.
3.) On the next page, enter your Apple ID in the provided field and then enter the Captcha in the provided field as shown in the image next to it.
NOTE: In case you have forgotten your Apple ID, click on the look it up option located just above the Continue button.
4.) After that, click on the Continue button. You will be directed to another page.
5.) On this page, you will need to perform next step according to the type of security you have enabled on your iCloud account.
6.) If you have set up Two-step verification for your iCloud email account, you will need to enter Recovery Key that you should have saved to your computer when you enable the two-step verification for the first time.
However, if you have enabled security question instead of two-step verification for your iCloud email account, simply answer the security question to proceed further.
7.) Once you are done with the above step, click on the Continue button. You will be taken to the Password Reset page.
8.) Enter your new password in the prompted fields and click on the Reset Password button. Your password for the iCloud email account will be reset. You can now easily access your iCloud email account.
