SBCGlobal is among the well-known webmail services in the world. Earlier, SBCGlobal.net email was owned by Southern Bell Company, however, later it was taken over by the AT&T and its name got changed from SBCGlobal to AT&T email.

1.) Sign into your SBCGlobal email account via link http://start.att.net/.
2.) Once you are logged into your account, click on your “username” or your account avatar located on the top right hand side of your screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
3.) Next, select the “Profile” option from the drop-down menu that appears on your screen.
4.) Then, you will need to click on the “Account Profile” option by going to the SBCGlobal Email Settings where you will need to click on the “email account”.
5.) You will get all your information displayed on the screen. Now, go to the user information tab and you will see the status appearing as “Active” as you are currently using your email account.
6.) Now, to delete your SBCGlobal email account, you will need to click on the “Delete Account” button located next to the “member ID” option.
7.) You will then get a confirmation dialog box on your screen. Simply click on the OK button to confirm your action.
8.) After that, you will find the status changed from “Active” to “Disabled”. This indicated that your SBCGlobal email account is no longer active.
