Steps to Setup Verizon Yahoo Mail on iPhone

Yahoo Mail Settings (Verizon)
- POP/IMAP: pop3
- Incoming Server: incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
- Incoming Port: 995
- SSl (Security) Incoming: ssl
- Outgoing Server: outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net
- Outgoing Port: 465
- Require Sign-in: Yes
Once you have information about these settings, you can follow these steps:
1.) On your iPhone, go to the Menu bar and select Settings option from the list. You will be directed to the Settings menu of your iPhone.
2.) Under the Settings menu, you will need to click on the Mail, Contacts and Calendars option. You will be directed to the next screen.
3.) Under Mail, Contacts and Calendar menu, you will need to tap on the Add account option. This will display a list of emails from which you will need to tap on the “Other” option and then on the Add Mail Account option.
4.) On the next screen, enter the following information in the relevant fields:
- Name: Enter your name
- Email: Enter your Verizon Yahoo Mail address
- Password: Enter your Verizon Yahoo Mail password
- Description: Enter a description of your choice or simply enter Verizon (Yahoo)
5.) Next, you will need to select pop3 under Incoming Mail Server section and enter the following information:
- Hostname: incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
- Username: Enter your username
- Password: Enter your Verizon Yahoo Mail password
6.) Then, you will need to scroll down and enter the following information under Outgoing Mail server:
- Hostname: outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net
- Username: email
- Password: enter your Verizon Yahoo Mail password
7.) After entering the information as suggested, you just need to tap on the Save option and select your email address on the next screen.
8.) Then, scroll down and select SMTP under Outgoing Mail server option.
9.) Under the Main server, you will need to select outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net and make sure that following information gets displayed:
- SSL: ssl
- Serverport: 465
10.) After that, tap on the Done button and go back to the previous screen. Select Advanced option and make sure following information is entered correctly.
- SSL: ssl
- Serverport: Incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
Finally, go back to the previous screen and restart your iPhone and complete the setup.
