1.) On your iPhone, open the menu bar and select Settings option by tapping on it. You will be directed to the Settings menu of your iPhone.
2.) Under the Settings section, you will need to scroll down and select Mail, Contacts, and Calendars option.
3.) Under Mail, Contacts, and Calendars section, you will need to tap on the Add account option. A list of email services will get displayed on your screen.
4.) As you will not find the Charter Mail mentioned on the list, you will need to tap on the Other option.
5.) After tapping on the Other option, tap on the Add Mail Account option and enter the following information:
- Name: Your name
- Email: Enter your Charter email-address
- Password: Enter your Charter email password
- Description: Enter a description if you wish to
6.) Then, you will need to select IMAP option under Incoming Mail Server and enter the following information:
- Hostname: mobile.charter.net
- Username: Enter your username
- Password: Enter your Charter Mail account password
7.) After that, tap on the Save option and select your email address on the next screen.
8.) On the next screen, scroll down and select SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server option.
9.) Next, go to the Main server section, select mobile.charter.net and make sure that the following information is displayed on the screen:
- SSL: ssl
- Server port: 587
10.) Then, you will need to tap on the Done button and go back to the previous screen. Select Advanced option and check whether the following information is correct or not:
- SSL: ssl
- Server port: mobile.charter.net
