Configure Wowway Email Using Wowway Email Server Settings?

Steps to Set Up Wowway Email Account Using Mail Server Settings

Below are the POP and SMTP settings required for the configuration process.

Wowway Email Incoming Mail Server Details (POP)

• Account Type: POP
• User Name: Your email address
• Password: Your email account password
• Server Hostname: pop3.mail.wowway.com
• Server Port: 110
• Required Authentication: Yes, email account and password
• SSL/TLS: No

Wowway Email Outgoing Mail Server Details (SMTP)

• Account Type: SMTP
• User Name: Your email address
• Password: Your email account password
• Server Hostname: smtpauth.mail.wowway.com
• Server Port: 25
• Required Authentication: Yes, email account and password
• SSL/TLS: No

Automatic Setup

1. Openthe Outlook email program and click on the File option located on the upper-left menu bar. This will open a new window on your screen.
2. In the new window, click on the Info option and then go tothe Account Settings>Account Settings option.
3. In the Account settings section, enter the details of your email account in the provided fields on the Auto Account Set-up screen. Once you have entered the required information, click on the Next button.
4. After clicking on the Next button, wait until Outlook tries to configure your account automatically as an IMAP account.
5. After the configuration process gets completed, click on the Finish button and then on the Close option. Your Wowway email account will be set upon your Outlook 2016 email program.

Manual Account

1. To begin with, you will first need to openthe Outlook email program on your computer. Next,select the File option.
2. From the menu, selectthe Info option and go to the Account Settings>Account Settings. This willtake you to the Add Account window.
3. In the Add Account window, select the radio button located next to the Manual setup or additional server types option. You will be directed to the next window.
4. On the next window, select the radio button next to the POP orIMAP option. Then, click on the Next button located on the lowerright corner of the window. You will be directed to the Add New Account window.
5. In the Add New Account window, you will need to enterthe required information in the prompted fields. After that,you will need toclick on the More Settings button located on the lower-right corner of the window. You will be directed to the More Settings window.
6. Once you are in the More Settingswindow, go to the Outgoing Server tab toselect the checkbox next to the following two options displayed on your screen:

• My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox is selected
• Use same settings as my incoming mail server

Then, go to the Advanced tab and make sure that prompted fields are filled with the following information on your screen.

POPPort Settings

Server Port Numbers

• Incoming Port(POP3): 110, Outgoing Port (SMTP):25 or 587

• Secure –Port: 995 and Security Type: SSL/TLS
• Insecure – Port:110 and Security Type: None

• This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL):Not Selected
• Use the following type of encrypted connection: None

NOTE: If you are setting up the email account using the IMAP settings, use the following settings.

IMAP Port Settings

• Incoming Port: 143, Outgoing Port: 587

• Secure -Port: 993 and Security Type: SSL/TLS
• Insecure – Port:143 and Security Type: None

• This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL):Not Selected
• Use the following type of encrypted connection: None

Note: If you are using Secure SSL / TLSsettings, select the checkbox next to the “This service requires a secure connection (SSL)” option for both Outgoing and Incoming mails.

General SMTP Port Settings

• Outgoing (SMTP) Secure –Port: 465 for and Security Type: SSL/TLS
• Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Secure –Port: 587 and Security Type: SSL/TLS
• Outgoing (SMTP) – Port: 25 and Security Type: None
• Outgoing (SMTP roaming server) Insecure –Port: 587 and Security Type: None

After that, click on the OK button to save these settings. You cancomplete the configuration process by pressing the Next button and then the Finish button. Your wowwayemail account will get configured on your Outlook 2016 email client using Wowway mail server settings.
